Here's what's going on between Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Kylie Jenner

Gomez and Hailey posed for a cute picture in November 2022, which went viral online. This allegedly started a dispute over Justin Bieber that lasted for years. Famously, Gomez and Bieber had a sporadic relationship from 2010 to 2018. After a brief reunion that year, the pair decided to call it quits. He and Hailey then got married a short time later.

On a September edition of Call Her Daddy, Hailey clarified the claim that she "stole" Bieber from Gomez and said she never interfered with their relationship. She said to podcast host Alex Cooper, "He was never in a relationship, ever at any point, when we ever started, like, hooking up or, like, anything of that nature.

"It's not in my nature to interfere in someone else's friendship. I just wouldn't do that. I've never been interested in doing that, and I'm not now.

And there have been new developments between Hailey and Gomez even after she clarified the chronology and posed for a picture with her husband's ex. It appears to have begun last month when Hailey deleted a TikTok after Gomez received criticism for her appearance in a bathing suit in paparazzi photos that surfaced on Instagram. Due to a video Gomez posted earlier this week about her eyebrows, which fans believe sparked a reaction from Kylie Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, the drama has continued.

The internet is abuzz with rumors of drama between Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Kylie Jenner, with users speculating that the "mean girl" drama may be related to Gomez's recent departure from social media. Although Bieber and Gomez had taken a photo together in October to quash feud rumors, a series of recent online slights appears to have rekindled tensions between the two stars. To add to the mix, a Kardashian-Jenner member is now involved. Fans have been piecing together clues over the past few weeks to understand how we got here. It all started when paparazzi photos of Gomez in a swimsuit were published while she was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in early January, which led to body-shaming scrutiny.

I'm not saying she deserves it, but I'm saying God's timing is always perfect, Hailey Bieber shared in a TikTok of herself, Kendall Jenner, and Justine Skye lip-syncing to. Some users believed that the ladies were making fun of Gomez. Although Bieber later removed the video, it has since been shared online numerous times.

Rivet Soro, a TikToker, said she was attempting to determine whether the video was "innocent" or intended to convey a "message to someone" when she reposted the TikTok on January 6.

Users' shared screenshots purported to reveal On the footage, Gomez made a comment. "It's alright! I don't allow these situations to depress me! Be polite to everybody!" Evidently, the remark was read.

Screenshots also display a remark made by Justin Bieber, which read: "We did a random TikTok sound for fun while out for a ladies' night, which is something I never comment on. None of them are the target of it."

Gomez felt the need to address her weight increase earlier this month, despite having previously spoken openly about having lupus and being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She explained to viewers on TikTok Live on February 16 that her weight changes based on her medications. (The Live can no longer be viewed on the app, but users have reuploaded video from it.)

We all experience bad days, but Gomez said, "I would much rather be fit and take care of myself." "My medicines are crucial, and I think they are what makes me feel better." Going on to say that she was "not a model," Gomez said, "I think they're awesome, mind you, but I'm just certainly not that."

On Thursday, Gomez overtook Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on Instagram with her current 383 million followers (with 380 million followers).

Then, in what appeared to be a totally unconnected incident this week, Gomez shared a humorous collection of images and videos on social media, telling her followers that she had "accidentally laminated my brows too much."

Soon after, Jenner published two oblique images to her Instagram story that admirers interpret as digs at Gomez. The first photo she took had the caption "This was an accident???" written in text over her brows. Jenner then published a picture of a FaceTime conversation with Bieber in which the two are seen focusing on their brows.

Numerous users on TikTok remarked on the rumors, branding it "childish" and "mean girl" behavior. On a popular TikTok recapping the incident, a prominent commenter penned, "It's no longer an accident."

Jenner denied having those plans in a response to a TikTok post from February 22 that called her out for "shading Selena Gomez." Then Gomez joined in, attempting to pacify her fans.

This is too far, wrote Jenner. "I never made fun of Selena, and I didn't see her tweets about her eyebrows. You, people, are inventing things out of thin air. This is absurd."

Gomez replied in writing to Jenner "@kyliejenner, I concur. All of it is useless. I enjoy Kylie's music!"

Gomez made comments on TikToks over the past few days, though, that her admirers interpreted as a sign that she was no longer complacent and was now defending herself. When Taylor Swift's album was mentioned on Thursday, Gomez left a remark below a TikTok with resurfaced old footage of Beiber sticking out her tongue.

She wrote, defending her fellow singer, "So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the business.

The responses online have intensified, despite the fact that the three celebrities appear to be purposefully keeping any disputes between them under wraps. Many users are rushing to Gomez's defense, despite some also accusing the singer of igniting the controversy. By following and unfollowing their profiles, people are indicating their allegiances.

Both Gomez's Instagram and TikTok profiles have experienced a significant increase. One reviewer said, "Just because of this, I went and followed Selena on IG, even though I never go on there.

Some people have even started to caption Bieber's TikTok videos with the Rare Beauty cosmetics company.

Gomez declared in a TikTok Live that she requires a complete break from social media as perceived slights and rumors continue to dominate it.

"I'm so fortunate. I couldn't be happier because I have the best friends and fans in the entire globe. I'm fine "She spoke. "I cherish who I am. Also, yep. I'm going to take a brief break from social media because this is kind of ridiculous. I'm 30. For this, I'm too ancient."

Gomez added the phrase "(taking a vacation from social)" to her most recent Instagram caption. On Thursday, she deactivated her TikTok account, but it has since been restored again.

Bieber, Jenner, or Gomez's team haven't replied to Insider's requests for comment.
